Hi, I’m Catherine, the creator of Climbing Covers.

Climbing and guiding were a big chapter of my life. During that time, I started making fabric covers for quickdraws with positive words—a little encouragement for moments when climbing felt challenging.

I took that idea from the first sewn prototypes through production and into shops and climbers’ hands. Along the way, it became about more than encouragement: colour, creativity, and adding a personal touch to gear.

These days, I’m a mom living in North Vancouver, making room for new interests alongside a project that still means a lot to me. Climbing Covers is part of my story, and I’m excited to keep exploring what it can become.
