How to Fit Your Climbing Covers
IMPORTANT: When reinstalling a carabiner, it MUST pass through BOTH the cover and the dogbone’s attachment loop. Never clip through the cover alone—it is not load-bearing.
Always remove the cover before inspecting your dogbone. Check the entire quickdraw before use and follow the gear manufacturer’s inspection and retirement instructions. Covers do not replace or repair climbing equipment.

Safety and security was the first thing I considered prior to design. To do this, I made reinforced loops on the top of the cover for the carabiner to clip through, securing it neatly to the quickdraw.

When properly applied, the product is not dangerous to climb with. It is recommended that the user is familiar with quickdraws and follows the instructional insert in the box for the correct application. The absolute most important thing in the application of the cover to the quickdraw is that the top carabiner is clipped through both the cover and the dogbone upon reassembly! Rock climbing is inherently dangerous and I’m an advocate for everybody hiring a Certified Rock Guide to learn from.
